A Game of you presenterar de den sista delen i sin
Personal trilogy, en föreställning där åskådarens ego står i centrum. Hur viktiga är andra människors blickar för din självbild? Och vem är du när du står framför en ridå och kan välja hur du visar upp dig själv för världen utanför? Bli en bricka i deras spel, upptäck reglerna och bryt mot dem om du behöver.
Föreställningen pågår i 30 min och publiken går in en och en med 5 min mellanrum. Spelas på engelska.

Den 5/2 bjuder Kristian § Mattias Nihlén och Thea Mix från klubb Kristallen in till fredagshäng och barmys i Nya rummet från 18. Den 6/2 bjuder PotatoPotato på ett-årsfest med musik, stand-up, tårtor och annat gott. Framåt natten förvandlas kalaset till dunkande fest. (14 - 03) Entré: 5/2: Gratis. 6/2: Gratis om man ser föreställningen och innan 24, därefter 30 kr.

How decisive are other people’s gazes for your self-image? And who are you, when you’re alone in front of a screen and you get to choose how you to show yourself to the outside world? Do you never wonder who’s on the other side? And how that person looks at you?
A Game of You is Ontroerend Goed’s third one-on-one performance, after
The Smile off your Face and
Internal. The performance is the final piece of a trilogy, baptized Personal Trilogy. The Smile focused on the senses: visitors were being blindfolded and, conveyor belt-wise, conducted through a titillating, desorienting world. In Internal, five actors explored the potential of a personal relationship with five visitors, through a concentrated mix of speeddating and group therapy. In A Game of You, the ego of the visitor is at the centre of attention.
The concept of avatars, internet-characters that make it possible for users to act out their wildest fantasies from a safe distance, was a thankful guideline for the creation process. Why would you get into the skin of ‘someone else’ and do things you’d never dare in real life? As an avatar, are you more yourself, or are you miles away from the real you during the trip? What if someone would sit next to you and follow all your movements? Would you still do the same things?
