I denna föreställning som skapades på uppdrag av Avignonfestivalen i somras, dansar och agerar Jennifer Lacey och Antonija Livingstone med utgångspunkt ur ovanstående citat ut sina funderingar och fantasier kring paradoxen inom kulturindustrin. Under vägledning av Gertrude Steins ande och med hjälp av lättare sprängämnen försöker de förstå kraften bakom de som sker på scenen och svara på frågorna; Vem planerar? Vems frihet är hotad? Hur ser den här frihetens kostym ut? Och viktigaste av allt, hur gör man för att bära den?

All things considered, this choreography is a love story, that of the hot hot romance between Culture and Administration. Together performer/choreographers, Jennifer Lacey and Antonija Livingstone dance out their contemplations and imagination of the ongoing paradox at work in the Culture Industry. All things considered, this choreography is a love story, a hot hot romance, between two magical creatures.
Instigated by a commission from the Festival Avignon, and guided by the spirit of Gertude Stein, Livingstone and Lacey offer an understanding of the vitality of spectacle, and a kind of homeopathic remedy for its spoils. The stage is set as a field of friends who may illustrate/illuminate and transform one another. The hypnotic angelic ringing of english handbells and the recalictrant use of minor explosives is critically entertaining and in the end we are all left singing the praises of our "citizens potential".
Who is planning ? Who's freedom is at stake ? What does this costume of freedom look like? ... and most importantly, What does one do whilst wearing it?
