Som ung i N.A.S.T.Y. crew blev Kano snabbt en av Londons mest respekterade MCs och idag är han vid sidan av Dizzee Rascal och Wiley Englands största namn inom grime/hiphop scenen. Han har vunnit the MOBO award och har på sin nya skiva 'LONDON TOWN' gjort låtar med bla Vybz Cartel, Damon Albarn och Craig David.

The last time we saw London wordsmith Kano his debut album - ‘Home Sweet Home’ – loved by fans and critics alike, had sold over 100,000, he’d sold out the Astoria (2,000 cap.) and picked up a Brit nomination & MOBO award along the way.

Back with new album ‘London Town’, which features Damon Albarn, Kate Nash, Craig David and Vybz Cartel, Kano keeps with the battling ethos he learnt working his way up from the grime scene into the mainstream – showing anything they can do… Kano can do better.

Title track ‘London Town’, sees Kano flow riding over a bass that in his words “could take yer head off”. The complete opposite of the slightly twee ‘LDN’ version of London that’s currently receiving so much attention. Rather this is Kano’s angsty depiction of his life, in his town. “I just wanted to tell people about the London I know rather than all these people like Fergie (Black Eyed Peas) talking about it.”
